Welcome to our classroom! In case we've never met, let me introduce myself. My name is Jennifer Segers and I've taught 22 years in the Ohio County School district. Eighteen of those most recent years were spent teaching 7th grade language arts. This year will be my first year back at the high school after teaching here 20 years ago. I'm beyond excited to be teaching in the building again and even more ecstatic to be teaching the English II course once again. Everyone needs a fresh start every now and then! I'm sure I will see many of my former students in the hallways and, while I'd love to give you a hug or a high five, in these times of physical distancing just know you were and always will be important to me. And...I'm so glad to get a second chance at being your teacher once more before you graduate!

I look forward to a great year and, despite the obstacles and uncertainties 2020 has brought with it, we will make the best of the circumstances we have.
