My name is Matilda Patterson and I have been a special education teacher for 15 years.  I am married and have two beautiful children.  Paisley is 12 years old and is in 6th grade at Beaver Dam Elementary. Parker is in 11th grade at Ohio County High School.  I love working with students and helping them to become more independent and successful.  We have many resources at Ohio County High School to help teach the students strategies for being more independent and successful adults both academically and socially.   We work daily in daily living skills within our core academic content.  These opportunities give the students time to grow both socially and learn academic skills including how to count money, using manners, stocking, and many more.  I look forward to another great year at OCHS and if you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to email or call.
