I teach MSD at Ohio County High School.  I have been teaching in this position for 4 years.  Before coming to OCHS, I taught LBD for 5.5 years in various schools across KY, as well as Kindergarten for 3 years in the private sector.  I am a graduate of Western Ky University with a Bachelors and Masters Degree. I am currently working to finish my Rank 1 at Campbellsville University.  I hope to finish in May 2020.  

I have been marry to Mr. Shawn Whitis for 20 years and we have 2 boys, Evan and Reece.  We are active members of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.  We love to travel.  Our last trip was to Switzerland were we learned so much about history and life styles in Europe.  We have traveled all over the United States and hope to do more in the future.
