Hi! My name is Julie Francis. I am the Library Media Specialist at Southern Elementary School and Horse Branch Elementary School. This is my fifth year as the  Library Media Specialist at both schools. 

My goal is to get students reading a variety of books for multiple purposes, and to develop an interesting and highly informational collection of books for both students and teachers.  

We are continuing to bring more technology into our library media program, and educate our students in the areas of information acquisition and literacy, using more digital resources.
