I am so happy to be a part of the Horse Branch family! This is my first year at Horse Branch and I could not be happier. This is my first year teaching Kindergarten, and I absolutely LOVE all of my kinder-babies. I wake up so excited to see their smiling faces every day. Our constant saying (and one of our classroom rules) is “Believe in yourself!” These kids do just that every day. 

Although I am new to this school, it is currently my 7th year as an educator. I am a native Kentuckian, but have been fortunate enough to be able to travel to a lot of places. My first two years of teaching were in Louisiana! When my husband graduated with his fully-funded masters degree we were finally able to move back to Kentucky. From there I’ve taught in Western Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky. Now finally we are back home. 

I married a wonderful man who is a teacher as well! We have a sweet, 3 year old daughter who teaches us new things each day.
