Our Vision
Ohio County Preschool strives to provide, in partnership with parents and guardians, a high quality developmentally appropriate experience within a caring and secure environment to effectively mold all Head Start and Preschool Students into lifelong learners who are adequately prepared for kindergarten and beyond.

What is Preschool?

Preschool is a program that focuses on the child's physical, intellectual, social and emotional development. Children are encouraged to solve problems, initiate activities, explore and learn by doing.

Who is Eligible for Preschool?


Any child who is four years old by October 1 and are at or below 150% of poverty or has a developmental delay or disability.

Children who turn three years old by October 1 and meet Head Start requirements or has a developmental delay or disability.
