In the summer of 2013, BDE embarked on an adventure: to create a school garden and outdoor classroom area. At first it seemed nearly impossible, but with the help of generous donors, volunteers, and dedicated staff, we made it happen! Students were able to participate in growing, harvesting, and even tasting plants and vegetables this past year. Though it's still a GROWING process, we're very proud of how far we've come.
